The Association for Science Education's on-line resources in support of Science Year.

The Association for Science Education (ASE) is a major partner in the delivery of Science Year into schools. Our aim is to support teachers in their work to enthuse and excite pupils with science and technology.

This site hosts all the resources produced in CD format for schools, together with updates and support information for teachers using the resources in school.

Through a series of five CD ROM resource packs we are producing innovative teaching activities for pupils and teachers throughout the UK. There are interactive learning activities, plus a whole host of other teacher support materials to help raise the profile of science throughout schools.

The first two CD ROMs have been sent to all secondary schools in the UK, free-of-charge. Future CDs are also available to UK schools free-of-charge, and overseas teachers may order the CDs for their schools. For more information on obtaining CDs, please contact ASE Booksales.

The Association for Science Education (ASE) is an independent registered charity. Financed by members' contributions, ASE is for teachers, advisers, technicians, industrialists, and all those contributing to science education. ASE offers support, advice, information and free publications to all its members. ASE is frequently and regularly consulted by government, industry and Local Education Authorities in the UK.

N.B. As these resources were originally distributed to schools as CD ROMs, you will find references to CDs throughout the Titles. Whilst you are free to use the resources from this site, if you would prefer to order CD format please refer to order information on the Contacts page of this site.
