Aiming to encourage young people
to take an interest in navigation,
the competition is open to anyone
aged 9-23 years. Entrants submit a
project report, choosing any subject
that demonstrates an understanding
of what navigation means. Information
for submissions may be obtained from
any source, including the Internet,
libraries, school projects, practical
experience during expeditions, travel,
etc.

This year the very impressive prize

- Fly a T-33 jet trainer
- Fly Shuttleworth Trust aircraft

Racing Club
Every entrant receives a Participation
Certificate from the Royal Institute
of Navigation. There are special prizes
and certificates for schools and groups.
The Royal Institute of Navigation
has provided a PowerPoint presentation
that will demonstrate these amazing
prizes to your pupils.

The closing date for entries is December
31st, 2002.
